It’s always a bit of added challenge talking to producers, but I enjoy hearing their flipped perspectives on some of the questions I typically ask emcees, about their preferences when working with different producers and so on. It’s always enlightening to hear about how a producer adapts to work with various different emcees, and Imperetiv is an artist with a lot of know how and experience working with various notable artists. We got into his thoughts on drumless beats, the details of securing features from artists, building community in London ON, his recent award, and a lot more. Lots of industry gems dropped on this one. Looking forward to hearing the podcast that he mentioned starting.
