Fly In Formation - Spitty

Another returning guest this week! I talked to Spitty, a Brampton emcee with a new album Motherland, inspired by a trip he took last year to India to experience the culture firsthand. We talked about his travels, his new album, his collaborators, evolving style, and continued drive, and a bunch of other important stuff that I didn’t ask him the first time we talked. I have the feeling the first interview with him was maybe the first episode I did the “How Important” section, but I’ve come up with some new ones since we talked last time.

I haven’t posted the full October FiF schedule in a pretty poster format, but I’m talking to artists from across Canada every week for live interviews, so make sure to hit follow on Twitch and turn on notifications so you don’t miss when we go live. Oct 22 I talk with Brampton emcee Spitty at 3pm MT/5ET. Hit follow on Youtube too while you’re at it so that you can catch the videos when they get edited and posted there a day or few later. Everyone’s welcome to drop in, say what’s up, or toss a question to the guest. If it’s a good one, I might even pretend I thought of it myself.

Tell a friend who likes Hip Hop about the show if you think they’d vibe with this kind of content.

Also, check out the After the Smoke is Clear archives for hour-long mixes from DJ Dice and I, covering the best new Hip Hop across Canada. New episodes drop Mondays and/or Thursdays. It’s the only place you can catch the Fly in Formation interviews in audio form, so I suggest getting the free Mixcloud app.

If you want to support monetarily, the best way is buying my music or dropping a donation here.

Thanks for checking in.
