Fly in Formation - Skizza

I linked with Saskatoon’s son Skizza, an emcee fresh off the release of his new album “Bridge City Underdog”. If you haven’t heard that you need to go listen. We talked about it, the creative process, being an emcee from the boonies, sticking to sensibilities, and a bunch of other stuff.

I’m learning this whole interviewing skill on the fly, so excuse me for missteps. I think the artists are giving enough info that its worthwhile to be doing these things. Hopefully someone finds an interview here for one artists who they enjoy and they hear another one referenced in the interview, or they watch the next interview in the playlist and learn a few more local level independent emcees across the country.

Shouts to Skizza and all the other artists who have landed on #FlyInFormation.

The audio for this interview is pinned on the end of #ATSIC Season 3 Episode 14. If you like music with a message, that’s the episode for you, because it’s all socially conscious and emotionally charged. It’s all new and all independent Hip Hop from so called canada.

Follow Skizza on IG: @Skizza306 and support him on Bandcamp.

Thanks for checking. Tell a friend if you know people who are into this kind of Hip Hop community.

I have a patreon now, that’s the best way to support the show and my family.

Stay Up.
