FUCK APATHY
New music every Monday. This is the third in a string of singles I’m posting with lyric videos to go along with them as part of a lead up to my album with DJ Moves. None of these singles I put up before the album will be songs from the album though, just loosies I had in the vault for too long that I wanted to share.
Wrote this one in the fall of 2020. Still fitting, even more so now that Edmonton recently had a rash of marches with a bunch of people spouting misinformation and waving tiki torches. I think it was the display of hatred from “counter protestors” (racists) at the BLM/anti-racism rally in Red Deer in the summer or 20 that spurred me to write this one. Along with all the other awful shit that happens constantly. It’s time for people to stand up to this movement of hatred before it’s too late and they have the world in a choke hold. Combat racism.
